Hero of War of 1812 to Rest at Arlington

The body of Capt. John Williams, United States Marine Corps, killed in an engagement on the east Florida coast in 1812, has arrived in Washington, and is in the vault at Arlington.

An interesting old monument, which stood over the grave of Captain Williams in a deserted cemetery at St. Marys, Ga., has been sent to this city by freight. As soon as it arrives the bones of the gallant soldier will be reinterred at Arlington with full military honors by the officers of the Marine Corps stationed in this city.
