Research Shows Patty's Home Gone.

ORIGINAL PATTY CANNON HOUSE—
This old house which once stood on the Maryland-Delaware line was converted into a stable and finally torn down in 1948. Mrs. William I. Handy and her children, Irvin, William E., and Jane Ann are shown in this 1947 photo. William E. Handy now lives in Joe Johnson's tavern, long known as the Patty Cannon house, which is about 200 yards away.
