Joyce Granted a Full Pardon for All His Misdeeds — An Act of Justice After Many Years.
Joyce Pardoned.
Washington, Dec. 19. — The President to-day signed a pardon for John A. Joyce, convicted of a conspiracy to defraud the United States of taxes on distilled spirits. The pardon is full and unconditional. Joyce, it will be remembered, was sentenced to a $2,000 fine in addition to his imprisonment.
