Sibby Ann Graham Padgett

Mrs. Sibby A. Padgett, widow of John W. Padgett, died last night at her home, 212 North Fairfax Street, at the age of seventy-eight years, after a lingering illness. She was a well known resident.

Mrs. Padgett made the Confederate flag which was placed on the old Marshall House in 1861, and which resulted in the death of Jackson and Ellsworth.
